SWOT Analysis – Understanding Problems and  Illuminating Solutions

Intelligence is an aspect of Divine Light. Like a beam of focused light, intelligence can help us understand the problems we face and reveal the solutions we seek.

SWOT analysis is part of the planning process that helps us focus our intelligence. What we gain through SWOT analysis helps us consciously navigate through life challenges toward our goals.

SWOT analysis follows goal setting in the planning process, and it stands for the following four elements.

  1. Strengths
  2. Weaknesses
  3. Threats
  4. Opportunities

One of the most beneficial parts of SWOT is the division between the internal origin and external origin of conditions.

Strengths and weaknesses are internal in origin and opportunities, and threats are external.

Once we realize the significance of this division, we recognize how an internal weakness could blind us to external opportunities and expose us to external threats.

Through the SWOT analysis process, we also recognize how an internal strength could help us overcome external threats and take advantage of external opportunities.
