Tools we hold, with form and grace,
Shape the work and set the pace.
In themselves, they carry weight,
But use determines their true fate.
Logic, too, a tool refined,
Can free the soul or cage the mind.
In ego’s grip, it turns and binds,
Constrains the heart and blinds the mind.
Yet Spirit’s logic flows with ease,
Unfolds the truth, helps us to see.
It guides our choices, wide and clear,
And leads us where we have no fear.

Reason is one of the five principles I use. Without it, lessons are life lost; the decisions become random, and the future outcome is even more unpredictable than usual. However, reason is just a tool. In the hands of the ego, it is binding. In the hands of the Spirit, it is liberating.
